  Outstanding Care!  Several neighbors recommended The Barkshire to us and we are so thankful they did. We adopted an adult mill rescue who has some “quirks”. When I initially called them about taking her there, they were so reassuring and willing to work with us to get her comfortable there. Most recently we boarded her and she showed signs of a UTI later the same day. We felt horrible because we didn’t see any signs of one but when she marked on their floor there you could clearly see. They sent me pictures and stayed in constant contact with us. They were able to take her to the Urgent Care for us and again, stayed in constant contact with updates and photos. Our girl usually picks one person to bond with and Autumn is her favorite. Autumn was able to take her to the vets and gave us all extra care and attention. Hayley was also fantastic about updating us and the whole staff is wonderful.  Trusting anyone with your dog is sometimes a leap of faith, but we are so glad The Barkshire in Troy was recommended to us. Especially after experiencing a medical issue and seeing how well they handled it. We could not be happier with them.

  We have been clients of the Barkshire for years. With dogs that are no longer with us… to new members of our family.  The staff is amazing. Always giving our dogs the special attention they need, whether it is some extra care if our dogs are stressed during a boarding stay or some bonus belly rubs just because. My dogs cannot wait to get hop out of the car and into their building. It puts us at ease knowing on long days we work or when we are out of town, they are also getting a wonderful and fun experience 💕

  Looking for something that really will make your dog truly happy???? I WAS!!!   I took my dog out of one daycare and brought him here and oh my God the absolute best the staff!!! They are so loving, so caring like you literally feel like your dog is going to Aunties house !!!  lol super duper! Clean!! The  treats just the care of how they really love these dogs is just unimaginable and I so appreciate them so much. The boarding is absolutely amazing and I love this place. Thank goodness for Barkshire. Please bring your dog here. I’m telling you … you will not regret it. It’s the best thing ever.

  We love The Barkshire! My dog goes twice a week. He literally drags me from the car to the door he is so excited to go. We have also boarded him there as well. Highly recommend!

  Barkshire’s been amazing! We left our dog there for 2 weeks and they really went above & beyond! Sending us multiple pics of our dog almost everyday, letting us add additional services throughout the stay, and more! We feel really fortunate to have Barkshire around!

  We’ve been taking our 1 year old Pooton, Duncan, to The Barkshire about once a week for several months now. We love it! Duncan gets so excited every time I drop him off. He gets some much needed exercise and socialization with other dogs. The staff is wonderful. I highly recommend checking it out!

  We have used multiple dog day cares and boarding and The Barkshire is the best.  She has a great time, we get great pictures and the staff loves having her there and treats her great!
